New Literatures: Literary Manifestations of
Non-binary Discourses
About the Event
Beyond the usual and often clichéd core issues in literature, gender diversity concerns and subversive discourses have of late come to the centre stage of literary activities. The issues concerning the basic natural and social behaviour of humans have now crossed over to the relatively newer areas of literary discussions where the emotions, feelings and newer notions of political correctness appear to demolish social stereotypes and conventional literary expressions to create larger spaces for the marginalized minorities. Such issues have been brought under the variegated umbrella of new literatures which demands closer scrutiny and greater understanding.
The PG Department of English at LISSAH College, in association with the IQAC of the college, is organizing here an International Paper Presentation session on February 16, 2023. The students, scholars and faculty members of the PG/UG Departments of all affiliated colleges, are cordially invited to participate in this event.
Abstracts may be kindly sent to subinvarghese@lissah.com on or before 3rd February 2023.
