The department of English, LISSAH organized a two-day webinar series on Career Guidance from May 19th to 20th 2021 for the UG and PG students of the department in association with the Students of English Association (SEA). The webinar started at 11 AM with a prayer song by Sherin B Cherian of 2^nd Semester B A English. A welcome speech was given by Ms Namitha Babu, Assistant Professor of English. The Presidential address was delivered by Rev. Father Niju Thalachira CST, Director of LISSAH. The session was initiated by Dr Sony Joseph, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Humanities and Social Science, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. He shared information related to various job opportunities and briefly explained about some career options that are suitable for BA graduates. He also shared some guidelines about how to choose a college/job and explained the parameters which is especially important while making a decision about a career. Word of appreciation on behalf of LISSAH college was given by Dr Benny Joseph, Principal of LISSAH. A Vote of thanks from the participants was given by Suliaka Nafbeen, Second Semester BA English student. The programme was concluded by 12:45 PM.
